Day 1 - Arrival And Stay At Hotel in Negombo

Upon Arrival to the Sri Lanka, at the Airport you will be greeted by your chauffeur guide who will take you into the hotel in negombo.after spend few hours at hotel and if you have spare time, your chauffeur guide will take you to some of Negombo’s wonderful sites such as Negombo Main Fish Market, Buddhist Temple, St. Mary’s Church, Dutch Cannel and Dutch Fort.

Day 2 - Leave Negombo to Anuradhapura and Overnight Stay At Hotel in Anuradhapura

On your way to Anuradhapura first you will be visited to Hindu temple named Munneshwaram, is one of five ancient temples dedicate to Hindu god Shiva.

Then proceed to Anuradhapura, is one of the most sacred cities in Sri Lanka as many places of Buddhist worship are located in this ancient city. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and one of the eight world heritage sites of Sri Lanka. The curious places of Anuradhapura’s are Sri Maha Bodhiya (the sacred Bo tree, is the oldest living tree in documented history of the world.it was planted in 288 BCF), Ruwanweli Stupa,Isurumuniya,Samadhi Statue,Moonstone,Twin ponds and some large lakes such as Nuwara Wewa,Tissa Wewa are the best known in the city.

Day 3 - Leave Anuradhapura to Sigiriya and Overnight Stay at Hotel in Sigiriya

After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya.with climb up to the top of the Rock and a chance to explore the natural phenomenon of Sigiriya.sigiriya or the loin rock consist of an ancient castle built by King Kassapa during the 5th century.it is considered one of the most important urban planning site of the first millennium.

After Sigiriya visit will take you to get the authentic experience of rural life style and culture. And will have chance to ride Bullock cart which was the first ordinary vehicle used governors, political administrators and clergy.

Day 4 - Leave Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa and Madirigiriya and Overnight Stay at Hotel in Sigiriya

After breakfast in the hotel will transfer to Polonnaruwa.Pulasthipura is the early historical name of Polonnaruwa, which is a World Heritage Site. And it is the third element of the Cultural Triangle.Polonnaruwa became the capital of ancient Sri Lanka subsequent to the decline Anuradhapura and witnessed Sinhala Buddhist civilization reach much greater heights.

During the rule of great King Prarakramabahu (1153-1186 AD) Sri Lanka came to be known as the Granary of the Orient. The main attractions of the Polonnaruwa are the conserved ruins of glorious royal palaces, massive Buddhist temples and unbroken monuments in colossal statues carved from solid rock boulders and with its conserved and renovated ancient irrigation reservoir called Sea of Parakrama.

Day 5 - Leave Sigiriya to Dambulla and Kandy Overnight Stay at Hotel in Kandy

Day 6 - Leave Kandy to Negombo Overnight Stay at Hotel in Negombo

After breakfast proceed to Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, are the largest and finest botanical gardens in the island, enclosed in a loop of Sri Lanka’s longest River Mhaweli.The Royal Botanical Gardens, was originally part of the royal residence of King Kirthi Sri Rajasinha (1747-80), became a botanical garden in 1821, is a home to a large verity (about 4,500 plant species) of ornamental plants and other species Flora. The total area is 147 acres (about 60 hectares).this also contains more than 300 varieties of charming Orchids.

Thereafter driving towards to Tea Plantation and Tea factory at Kadugannawa, and witness of processing the World Purest and finest tea, renowned as “Ceylon Tea” .the Sri Lankan tea is of distinctive taste, attractive aroma and untouchable quality. This because of the Island’s tropical climate and fertile soil are healthier for quality tea production.

On the way Back will transfer to see the World largest herd of Orphan Elephant at Pinnawala. Was established in the year 1975 with five orphan elephants in the area of 25 acres at Pinnawala. at the present the elephant orphanage serves as a conservation and breeding centre as well as a place of informal education on elephants,their behaviours and conservation.now it has about 86 elephants,in 1984 the first baby elephant of the orphanage, named “Sukumali” was born and thereafter 64 calves were born.visitors can see the bathing elephants in and around Ma Oya River.
